Abstracts will be accepted only in the English version*
Abstracts from the V Meeting Genetics and Plant Breeding of Rio de Janeiro
For the preparation and submission of abstracts, researchers, technicians and other professionals should follow the instructions presented below:
The deadline for submission of the abstracts to the Organizing Committee of the V Meeting Genetics and Plant Breeding is October 23th, 2020.
Only one abstract as the main author will be allowed per submission with a maximum of seven (7) co-authors.
Abstracts should be sent to the Organizing Committee, EXCLUSIVELY, by e-mail: jobsvmgpb@gmail.com in doc or docx format.
Abstract submission does not mean its approval, the abstract submitted by the participant will be corrected by expert reviewers in the specific areas of each abstract. Final acceptance will be announced by October 30th, 2020.
Abstracts must be written in English. The abstract should be written in a single paragraph and not contain more than 300 words. The authors should concisely describe, respectively, the problem being addressed in the study, how it was performed, the salient results and what the authors conclude from the results. After the abstract should be indicated three keywords, characterizing the content of the study.
The text quality (grammar, spelling and typing), as well as the opinions and concepts expressed in the abstracts are the sole responsibility of the author(s) and will be considered as an evaluation criterion by the Scientific Committee. Abstracts will be published as submitted by the authors.
Abstracts should be prepared according to the specifications below:
The text must be written in Times New Roman font size 12, justified, in line spacing (1.5 pts).
The abstract must not include citations, references, tables, and figures.
As for page layout, the text should be written in A4 size, portrait orientation, with custom margins: 2 cm for all margins.
The title of the abstract should be written in Times New Roman, size 16, bold, centered.
The title should contain a maximum of 15 words.
Right after the title, it should be written the names of the authors (Ex: Full Name da Silva) followed by the description number of their respective affiliation.
